Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are less than thrilled about their wedding plans being leaked and are taking measures to tighten security.
“Selena and Benny are fuming their wedding plans have been leaked,” an insider tells the Daily Mail. "If it wasn’t just two months away, they’d think about changing the celebrations, but that’s an impossible task and they don’t want to delay the wedding and find a new location. Instead, they’re doubling up on security to make the event as private as possible.”
“Security for Selena’s wedding will be of the utmost importance because not only is she a public figure, many of the guests will be too,” another source explains. “She is going back and forth on whether or not to allow people to have their phones as an extra measure of security and privacy, along with the fact that she wants everyone to be present.”
They added that the event is almost entirely planned and “a lot of last-minute confirmations have to be made, so some stuff might go down to the wire, but they are all confident it will go off without a hitch.”
Unclear exactly what leak Sel and Benny are upset about, but presumably it has something to do with the Daily Mail previously reporting that couple is going to tie the knot in “a matter of weeks” in California. A source spilled that “Selena and Benny’s wedding is going to be a two-day event” and that “everyone invited has been asked to bring overnight bags to stay for the weekend.”
The insider also added, “Although it’s for friends and family only, many on the friends list are huge celebrities including Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Selena’s costars from Only Murders in the Building, and music superstars who are Benny’s friends and some he’s also worked with.”
